Live Band Recording

Studio B is a full band room built for a live take: drums, bass, guitars, keys, and a vibraphone are already in the building, so a band can plug in and play without hauling gear. Congas and hand percussion are there too if the song calls for it. The room runs two ways.

Rental and Rehearsal

Rehearsal is $30 for the hour. Show up, plug in, play. No engineer, no console, just the room and the backline.

Recording

Recording is different. A tracked session needs two rooms, not one: the band plays in Studio B while the engineer works from Studio A, monitoring through a three-by-three window in the shared wall. Eighteen inputs run to a patchbay, so drums, bass, guitars, keys, and scratch vocals all land on separate tracks instead of bleeding into one mic. That's why a recorded session is $100 for two hours and holds both rooms: load-in and setup eat the first hour, and the building is genuinely occupied end to end, not just the live room. If you're not sure which one you need: rehearsal is for practice and pre-production. Recording is for tracking a song you're keeping.
