About ES Sounds
Tayvian Johnson and Avery Pearl both grew up in East Moline, and both landed at Augustana College, two years apart- the practical choice for two guys from the area. Avery had already built a studio in his college house, and that's where the brothers ran their first paid sessions.
Those sessions were the start of something bigger. They decided the next step was building a place of their own.
That became ES Sounds. The brothers opened the studio in East Moline in January 2019, built around a simple idea: a home base for artists who'd had as hard a time finding a studio, a scene, and a community as they did. The goal was never one artist carrying the whole Quad Cities scene alone. It was building a network.
6+ years later, that's still the mission: three rooms, engineers on site, and a space built by two brothers who knew the space needed to exist.
